First two pictures are some still life that I did. I first drew an overall sketch then I began sketching the real thing. I wanted to work on proportions and overall form. I think I still need to work on proportions but I think my second try was an improvement from my first.

Third and fourth pictures are 1 point perspectives. For the first I wanted to try drawing a corridor so I started with pinpointing my horizon line and vanishing point. Then with a ruler I mapped out where the walls, ceiling, door and columns where in relation to each other. My second try I looked at some books on perspective and followed the method and technique. I think my second try is much more realistic than my first.

The rest of the pictures are drawings I did in a Neon Naked Figure Drawing class and simple human body studies. When I was doing the figure drawings it was pitch black except for the models who were lit up with neon paint so I used a technique similar to the drawing practice of not looking on the page whilst drawing, as well as not taking your pencil off the page. It was quite difficult but I managed to get some of the form of the human body onto the page despite this. I tried to get their gestures and poses too, although this was quite difficult as they were constantly moving.
